Health 2 Standard First Aid 1.5 Units
Study of accident and injury prevention, early medical care, first aid for common injuries and lifesaving skills. Red Cross First Aid Certificate when sucessfully completed. UC Credit.

Recommended Preparation: Health 2 or Standard First Aid Card. Provides first responder with skills to sustain life. reduce pain and minimize injury/illness until medical help arrives. Emergency Response Certificate upon successful completion.

SE 101 Introduction to Therapy and Rehabilitation 3.0 Units
Information and practical experience provided in careers in therapy and rehabilitation. Class encompasses all areas involving working with the disabled.

PPE 101 Athletic Training Field Work 2.0 Units
Exposure to immediate recognition and treatment of sports injuries unique to intercollegiate athletics. Emphasis on rehabilitation and taping techniques. Students will receive hands on experience and will apply various techniques in the treatment of athletic injuries.
