Kent S. Marangi, M.D.
Orthopedics
Dr. Marangi is in his second year working with the Saddleback College student athletes.
A native of Southern California, he earned his bachelor's degree at Stanford University and attended medical school at U.C. San Francisco. He completed his orthopedic residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Following his residency, he opted for a Fellowship in Sports Medicine in San Diego where he completed research and special training in the arthroscopic treatment of complex knee and shoulder injuries and acted as a team Orthopedic Surgeon for U.C. San Diego and UNiversity High School in San Diego.
Following his fellowship, Dr. Marangi joined Community Orthopedic Medical Group in Mission Viejo. In addition to his work at Saddleback College, he also serves as the Team Physician for the Mission Viejo Vigilantes Professional Baseball team and Capistrano Valley High School.
Dr. Marangi and his wife, Cindy, a Physical Therapist who practices in Mission Viejo, wish all the student athletes a successful, healthy and winning year.
